Who are we?

 

Studying Law or not, the University of Reading Law Society is a must-join institution. 

 

The Law Society is the biggest society on campus, and a must-join whether you study Law or not.

We host a vast range of opportunities, both academic and social, including a range of internal and external academic ventures through our Legal Progression Programme. You will have the opportunity to get involved with opportunities such as career workshops, networking events and competitions. These are hosted in partnership with our sponsors, which include some top Law firms and legal institutions providing you with invaluable information and experience to help bulk up your CV.

We also have a busy social calendar, which is the perfect way to meet new people, make some great friends and take a well-earned break from your studies! Our society would not be complete without our annual Law Ball, which is a definite highlight of the social calendar, providing an opportunity to showcase your best attire and party until the early hours of the morning with fellow students and academics. Trips to Ascot, our annual trip abroad and the Winter Mixer are just a few more of our favourites, proving that this Society is not one you want to miss out on!
